The last night of a business trip has a mood of its own. The presentation has been given, the contract is signed or it is not, and the team dinner ended with handshakes. What remains is a hotel room, a suitcase to pack and a flight in the morning. For many travellers that evening is the first moment of the whole trip that belongs to them, and it is no coincidence that it is one of the busiest nights for bookings from business guests.
Why the last night of a business trip is different
During the working days, every evening is shaped by the day that follows. You book an hour, not two, because the alarm is set for six. You drink water instead of wine. You keep one ear on the phone. On the last night, most of those limits disappear. The only remaining obligation is getting to the airport, and even that is usually several hours away.
That changes what guests ask for. Ninety minutes or two hours become the normal length. For one guest with one therapist, ninety minutes costs 270 euros and two hours cost 360. Some guests who have been working very long days choose three hours, at 540 euros, and a few choose the overnight, eight hours for 1,250 euros, so the trip ends with the quietest night of the week.
Packing first, then the session
A small piece of advice from many evenings of experience: pack before she arrives. Guests who plan to pack afterwards almost never do, and the morning becomes a rush of folded shirts and forgotten chargers. Leave out only what you need for the morning, put the suitcase by the door, and the room is calmer for the session as well.
Also check the checkout time and the time you must leave for Schiphol. If your flight is early, an overnight may end too close to your departure; a two-hour session that ends before midnight gives you a full night of sleep instead. The train from Amsterdam Centraal to the airport is quick, but allow for the queue at security.
Booking ahead from the office
Many guests send the message during the last afternoon, sometimes from the meeting room, sometimes from a taxi. A booking made on the same day for a session of one or two hours is paid entirely on arrival if you have booked with us before. If this is your first booking, or it is for three hours or longer, or for the overnight, half the fee is sent in advance by card, Revolut, Wise or crypto, and the rest is paid in the room in cash, by card or in crypto.
If you already know on the first day of the trip that you want the last evening, you can book it then. A booking made more than twenty-four hours ahead is also confirmed with the half deposit, and it can be moved once to another date within fourteen days if your plans change more than a day before. The rules are on the cancellation policy page.
Asking for the same therapist again
Guests who booked earlier in the week often ask for the same woman on the last night. It makes sense: she already knows the room, the lift and the way you like the session to begin. Write her name in the message and the coordinator will check her roster. If she is not working, the therapist profiles make it easy to choose someone with a similar style.
Colleagues on the same floor
On the last night, the team often stays in the same hotel, sometimes on the same corridor. This rarely matters. Most colleagues are in their own rooms packing or asleep by ten, and a therapist arriving at a hotel room looks like any other visitor. If you would rather avoid a chance meeting in the lift, ask for a start time a little later than the team dinner ends, when the corridors have gone quiet.
The morning of the flight
After a long evening session, most guests sleep deeply and wake later than planned. Set two alarms. Order breakfast to the room if the hotel offers it, so you do not have to dress for the dining room. And if you have landed in Amsterdam again within a few weeks, the same thread is still open; returning guests often send a single line from the arrivals hall.
