Sunday massage Amsterdam: why the slow day suits it
Sunday has a particular feeling in Amsterdam. Many shops open late, if at all. Offices are shut. Streets that were crowded on Saturday night are quiet until noon, and the whole city seems to move at half speed. For a visitor, that slower rhythm is either a frustration or an opportunity, and a massage in the hotel room is one of the easiest ways to turn it into the second. A Sunday also often sits in an awkward place in a trip. It may be the morning after the busiest night, the last full day before a Monday flight, or the gap between a weekend of sightseeing and a week of meetings. In each case, a slow session in the room fits the day better than another museum queue.
