How much is a hotel massage in Amsterdam? It is the second most common question we receive, after "can you come tonight", and it deserves a complete answer rather than a single figure. The single figure is 180 euros for one hour, for one guest with one therapist, delivered to any hotel in central Amsterdam at any hour. Everything else follows from two questions: how long, and how many people.
How much is a hotel massage for one guest
For a single guest with one therapist, the lengths are priced as follows. One hour is 180 euros. Ninety minutes is 270 euros. Two hours is 360 euros. Three hours is 540 euros. Each further hour after three is charged at the same 180 euros, so a four-hour booking comes to 720 euros. The overnight, eight hours, is a block price of 1,250 euros.
There is no extra charge for the hotel visit, no night supplement, no weekend premium and no fee for booking at short notice. The figure in the confirmation is the whole figure.
For a couple, and with two therapists
A couple sharing one therapist pays twice the single rate: 360 euros for one hour, 540 euros for ninety minutes, 720 euros for two hours, 1,080 euros for three and 2,500 euros for the overnight.
A single guest with two therapists also pays 360 euros for the hour and 720 euros for two hours. The one difference is the night: an overnight for one guest with two therapists is 2,880 euros. A couple with two therapists, one each, is on the fourth row: 720 euros for one hour, 1,440 euros for two and 5,760 euros for an overnight. Every therapist profile carries all four rows in a small table.
What is paid before she arrives
Most bookings are confirmed with a deposit of half the fee. That applies to a guest's first booking with the house, to any booking made more than 24 hours ahead, to any session of three hours or more, to every overnight, to any booking with two therapists, to hotels by the airport and to peak dates such as King's Day or New Year. The deposit is sent after the office confirms, by card, Revolut, Wise or crypto. Bank transfer, PayPal and cash are not accepted for the deposit.
The one booking paid entirely at the door is a same-day session of one or two hours from a guest the house has already looked after. For that guest, a ninety-minute evening is simply 270 euros handed to the therapist in the room.
How the balance is paid
The balance is paid to the therapist when she arrives. Cash is accepted in euros and in other major currencies, converted at the day's rate. Cards work, and so does crypto if it is mentioned when booking. Nothing is ever added to the hotel bill, because the hotel plays no part in the arrangement.
A worked example helps. A guest on a first visit books two hours for tomorrow evening. The fee is 360 euros. The deposit, sent after confirmation, is 180 euros. The remaining 180 euros is paid in the room. If the guest cancels, the deposit is kept; the terms are on the cancellation policy page.
Is it expensive?
Compared with a hotel spa treatment, the hourly figure is higher. The comparison is not quite fair, though, because a spa treatment happens in a spa, during spa hours, and ends with a walk back through a corridor in a robe. A session here comes to your room at midnight or at six in the morning, lasts as long as you choose and asks nothing of you except opening the door. The guide comparing a hotel spa with an in-room session goes into the difference properly.
Tipping
Tips are not expected and are never assumed. Guests who want to leave something extra do so in cash, directly to the therapist, and the amount is entirely their own decision. What matters more than a tip is honesty in the thread about the length and the number of people, because that is what the figure in the confirmation is built on.
